Frequently asked questions

Who is this book for?

It's written for first-line managers, analysts and consultants early in their project work: people close enough to the data to be useful, who want a repeatable way to go from “this number is moving the wrong way” to a clear recommendation. If spreadsheets, a P&L and slide decks are familiar, it will meet you at that level. It's not a course or a certification, and it doesn't promise any particular result at work.

Do I need consulting experience?

No. Each chapter starts with the problem the method solves and defines new terms once. Then come the steps, a done-test, an example from the Corbel case, common mistakes and the limits of the method. It ends with a Try It exercise, an answer guide and a template sheet. If you've never seen a margin calculation, the early chapters may feel fast; past that, no prior consulting work is assumed.

What's the difference between the book, the Field Kit and the Editable Templates?

The book is the main product: 35 chapters that explain each method, show it on the Corbel case and let you practice it. The Field Kit ($12) is a printable companion: a one-page map of Frame, Find, Decide, Deliver plus one page per method. The Editable Templates ($17) are 10 Google Docs, Sheets, Slides files you can fill in, each with a filled-in example. Buy the book alone, add either one at checkout, or get all three as the Complete Kit.

What format is it?
